The Cat's Pajamas Sneaky Peek #3

It's Sneaky Peek day #3 of the July release from The Cat's Pajamas  and it's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!  Today we are giving you a peek of the SKETCHY SANTAS stamp set and Joyeux Noel CutUps.

It goes without saying, I had such fun making these cards!  I love this release and especially these SKETCHY SANTAS!  This all started with Santa stamped with Memento onyx black on Bristol Smooth and coloring him with distress ink.  They were cut out with an electronic cutting machine (don't forget the free cut files!).   A red cardstock created and folded to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  A panel of black was cut to 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" and a white panel3 1/4" x 4 1/4 ". Joyeux Noel CutUp 3 times, once from glitter paper, red cardstock and red coordinating print.  Noel, which is a separate die was cut from black.  Joyeux, Noel and the banner were inlaid on the the base and the snow flakes were glued on top.  All the panels were centered, adhered and the Santas were popped up on top.

The next card started with the new stencil, BLIZZARD and the BIG BEAUTIFUL BLENDING BRUSH (it has its own cover) which made blending smooth as butter!

To start, the BIG BEAUTIFUL BLENDING BRUSH was used to stencil distress oxide inks in tumbled glass, stormy sky and chipped sapphire on to watercolor paper.  A little water was spritzed on to the panel for a more snowy look.  Star Dust Stickles were applied to create a few ski runs for Santa as well as a bit more snow.  Santa was again stamped with Memento onyx black on Bristol and colored with distress ink and cut out using the cut files.  After Santa was cut, the panel was adhered to a card base and he was popped up on top, skiing down the run.

The sentiment was stamped on the oval from Portrait of Mew and colored with Prismacolor pencils. A hole was punched and an eyelet placed for hanging with a Kreinik silver metallic thread. Another 2 cards for my Christmas card stash!

I know you have to be tempted after the 3 peeks so far.  All the stamps sneaked are currently available in the store. How would you like to win a little something to help you with that wish list?

A TCP $10 gift voucher winner will be chosen daily during sneak peek week from comments on the featured blogs and their IG accounts. Winners will be posted on the TCP Blog and on our Facebook page. My IG is @brendanh50 for an additional chance to win. Visit the TCP blog to find which other designers have creations for you to see and comment on for even better chances to win.

Look forward to seeing you again tomorrow for more of the new release!
