Frantic Stamper - More Coffee Love!

June is almost gone, but to plagiarize a coffee commercial, it is good to the last drop.  I have loved playing with the July Frantic Stamper release, For Chocolate and Coffee Lovers.  Here are a couple more of the coffee cards I created.

This card features the following stamps and dies :  Percolator (FRA-DIE-10662), Scalloped Rectangles (FRA-DIE-10651), Nested Tags from a previous release (FRA-DIE-10101) and the Coffee Stamps (FRA-CL-133) -

This card started with some great digital coffee papers from Gracielle Designs. The white card base measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches. A panel 5 1/4 x 4 inches was cut and glued to the base. A panel was cut using the Scalloped Rectangles (FRA-DIE-10651), which was glued to the large panel.  The rectangle panel was cut 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches.  A Creative Impressions ribbon was tied to to the rectangle panel, popped up and placed on the card base.

The coffee pot and mug were die cut from blue cardstock scraps that had been sprinkled and heat embossed to give the vintage look The pot and mug was then die cut from the prepared paper using Percolator (FRA-DIE-10662).  The tag was die cut from white paper and the sentiment was stamped.  The cup was tied to the ribbon using thread and the tag was adhered to the card base.  Last of all the cute little percolator was popped up and placed on front.

The next card features : Coffee to Go (FRA-DIE-10659), Stitched Sweet Swirls Card Panel (FRA-DIE-10654), Irish Coffee (FRA-DIE-10661) , Simple Scalloped Edgers (FRA-DIE-10463) from a previous release and the Coffee Stamps  (FRA-CL-133) -

I first cut my panels of kraft card and white card.  The white card was "stitched" using Stitched Sweet Swirls Card Panel (FRA-DIE-10654).  I used a real coffee mug set in a coffee puddle to create the life size coffee ring on the white panel.  These panels were glued together after the coffee ring was dry and were layered on the card base.

Next the Coffee to Go (FRA-DIE-10659), a bit of foam from Irish Coffee (FRA-DIE-10661) and a border of Simple Scalloped Edgers (FRA-DIE-10463) were die cut.  The border was stamped with "coffee beans" and the sentiment was stamped using Coffee Stamps  (FRA-CL-133).

The coffee cup as assembled and popped up and all the elements were adhered to the card front.

I have a my last 2 cards to share with you tomorrow, so stay tuned.  After that it will be time for the July release which I think you are going to love as much as I do!

Thanks for checking this out!

Aloha,
Brenda
