LRW Challenge #499 - Upcycle/Recycle

Happy Learn about Composting Day!  You probably had no idea, right?  Neither did I, but seems like such perfect inspiration for a challenge to Upcycle/Recycle something you use to make your project.  I don't care if you use a ribbon, a book page, a box or a dried flower, there are tons of possibilities.  Just create with something you have saved from the trash bin.

I made a gift card holder using a coffee sleeve from my favorite local coffee shop -

I was very fortunate to win a voucher to Miss Ink Stamps during the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop.  The images here are from their Brewtiful stamp set.

If you are short on ideas, take a look at the fab makes from the Girlfriends, they always inspire me.  This would be a perfect opportunity to make something other than a card, which we welcome.  I can't wait to see what you create this week!

Aloha,
Brenda

  3. Splendid card, Brenda! So cool that you used that coffee sleeve, it's got a fabulous image on it, it would have been a shame to just discard it! Loved this challenge, thanks for it!

  4. Perfect gift card for this challenge, Brenda. I also pick up Starbucks coffee sleeves (we only go there on vacation because I find it way too expensive and we none in town anyway) - maybe I'll need them sometime. As you can see you have found a good use.
