Here we are half way through the month of April, with plenty of time for you to join us over at The Cat's Pajamas for TCP Tuesday Challenge. The theme this month is perfect...Spring. What's even more perfect are all the lovely TCP stamps and dies that will work for this challenge. You don't have to use TCP goodies, but we'd sure love to see them if you do.
Here's what I came up with -
For this card, I used Year of the Pig and Asian Spring stamp sets, Mountains and Spring Tree Duo CutUps.
To make this card, I started out by stamping the flowers and coloring them with Copic markers. Then they were fussy cut and set aside. Next I used Spring Tree Duo to cut the circle in place of a white panel. The little scene was stamped on a piece of deli paper, using the stitched circle cut out as a guide and colored with Prismacolor pencils. The mountains were cut from a brown cardstock scrap. The scene was adhered in place to the front panel, the flowers were adhered around the circle and "dreams" from Year of the Pig was stamped. Using the front panel as reference, the "mountains" were adhered to a card base with a tumbled glass distress oxide ink blended sky. The front panel was then adhered to the card base.
We will be looking for your entry! Remember, a $50 TCP voucher goes to the winner. Be sure you check out all the beautiful creations the Cat Pack has made.
Aloha,
Brenda
