Otterly Motherly

Happy weekend! I'm here to show you my little otter card made with Frantic Stamper goodies from the March release . This is another die that can be used so many different ways. I made this card a slider, just can't keep that baby away from mama! Supplies used from the new release are Utterly Motherly (FRA-DIE-10620) and clear stamp set, Otterly Amazing (FRA-CL-126).

For this card, I started by cutting the white frame using Rectangle Frames (FRA-DIE-10091) so I could fit my scene with in it's perimeter. Next, I used Stitched Waves (FRA-DIE-10258) to create a stencil for to make the sky background with distress ink.  The panel was stamped with the sentiment from Otterly Amazing stamp set (FRA-CL-126). The sun was cut using Bitty Summer Postage (FRA-DIE-10091) and adhered to the sky. The little otters were cut from scraps of design paper and their faces were paper pieced by cutting the details from black.  I chalked around the edges to give them a little depth. The waves were cut from scraps from my stash and both were popped up on fun foam leaving room for the pull tab to move smoothly. The mama beaver was attached to the pull tab and moves accordingly. The frame was adhered to the scene and this was all adhered to the card base.

Thanks so much for stopping in! If you have questions, please feel free to leave them in the comments.

Aloha,
Brenda
