Little Red Wagon #485

I'm so happy to let you know about our Little Red Wagon Challenge this week. Kate is our hostess and she says "Baby It's Cold Outside!". She wants to see our projects of all types that depict a winter theme. The weather here lately has helped me get in the mood. This was the temp here about 1 week ago.

I know it's really not that cold and I have actually been enjoying the lower temps. We do have to bundle up at night though because we don't have heaters. This is how you tell it's cold in Hawaii -

People wear their slippas (flip-flops in many languages) with socks. Maui had 5"+ of snow on the summit of Haleakala and the state park was closed for several days.

OK, so enough about winter here in Hawaii. Kate is probably sorry she chose this challenge at this point. Here's my card -

I'm still in the "stick it" mode from Imke's recent challenge. This card went together fast and easy with washi tape, a glittery die cut snowflake, a sentiment and a few jewels. (Christmas card #6, done).

We would sure love to have you join us this week. If it's more inspiration you would like, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the Girlfriends have created. Then head back to the Little Red Wagon to link up your project. Thanks so much for popping in!

Aloha,
Brenda

  3. LOVE your card, Brenda. The colors are great and also the use of Washi Tape.

You have the same temperatures like we in Germany at the moment  - too warm in Germany - too cold in Hawaii. Wrong world :-)
