CRAFT Challenge #494

It's time for another CRAFT Challenge!  We would love for you to join us the week in creating something related to the theme of Christmas.  I'm sure at least of you are still making Christmas cards so why not link up for a chance to win images from our sponsor -

Here's my Christmas card featuring Large Cappuccino Cup from Endless Creations and buffalo print digital paper from The Freckled Scrapbooker -

I hope you will share with us over on the CRAFT Challenge blog.  If you happen to make a Christmas coffee card, link it up the the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop here.  Or if you are visiting from the blog hop, we would welcome to to play along with us at CRAFT Challenge blog.

Thanks for checking in!

Aloha,
Brenda

  6. Hi again Brenda! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog to say hello and meet me. I just wanted to clarify what I meant by the comment you referenced. I don't think your computer is misbehaving (as they sometimes do...lol) but rather, what I meant is that when you reply to the comments left on your blog by others, those people don't ever actually see your response. The only way they'd ever see it or know of it is if they were to visit that particular post on your blog again, and go back to read what you wrote. We don't get notifications of people doing that, so we just don't know about it. I learned that the hard way. I SO wanted to grow my blog, get new followers, make blog friends with those who inspire me, etc., but I learned that the only way they ever saw my comments and my gratefulness for their comments on my blog was to actually visit their blogs, become a follower of their blog, leave them a comment telling them so, and then hoping they'd do the same. It worked for quite a while. It's a lot of work, I'll tell you. When I first started blogging, I just wanted ANY followers. I watched as it finally climbed to 100. I was SO excited. I don't work at it like I used to. But that also shows as I've been close to 1,000 for a couple years now; but I haven't done the work to grow it up to (or past) 1,000. I think I'll about die if and when that ever happens. Sadly, it doesn't mean that many people actually visit our blogs on a regular basis, but it does mean that some are enjoying our art. I get SO much inspiration from other people. I just love looking at everyone's unique creativity and to learn from everyone. I enjoy visiting your blog. I hope you will stop by mine now and then to say hello. It's good to make new blog friends. And now....I'm officially rambling. Have a great day! Karen

P.S. And since I'm rambling.....I also run a challenge blog and I would LOVE to have you share your creations in our challenges. We have AWESOME prizes and lots of fun. It's always Anything Goes/Family Friendly. Here's the link: www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com
