I'm sharing a holiday card created with the fabulous new Frantic Stamper release, Winter Wonderland. This cards features Forrest Tree Line (FRA-DIE-10532), Cottage in the Hills (FRA-DIE-10531) and Let It Snow (FRA-DIE-10538).
I had a bunch of fun creating the background using Distress Oxide Inks (Blueprint Sketch and Salty Ocean) and Perfect Pearls Mica Powder (Perfect Pearl) which are also available in the store. The distress oxides were applied to watercolor paper horizontally. Perfect Pearls were mixed well with water in a mini mister and this was applied liberally to the distress oxides to blend. I dried the paper with a heat gun since I was too excited to wait for it to dry. I dried both the front and back of the paper which helped minimize warping. I used a distress ink applicator to add a little Blueprint Sketch around the edge of the back ground.
The next card was made using two of the 3 fab new stencils in the collection, Birch Tree (FRA-STN-017) and Snowfall (FRA-STN-016). A few snowflakes were added from Bitty Winter Postage (FRA-DIE-10530) and you may recognize Redd the Fox (FRA-DIE-10509) and Retro Label Maker Christmas Sentiments (FRA-CL-112) from previous releases.
Please be sure to check out the Frantic Stamper store. New, wonderful items are arriving everyday. You'll definitely want to see this release in it's entirety and along with it all the wonderful creations from the design team.
Thanks for taking a peek, stay tuned for more!
Aloha,
Brenda
