Grateful...

Doesn't looking at this just put you in the holiday spirit?  I love mood boards because they are so full of color and texture and wonderful shapes.  They also can stir emotions and feelings that really get those creative juices going.

I'm here today with a card for Kennedy Grace Designs.  This is my card and a bit about the creative process that brought it about -

Often times my cards are technique driven.  When I saw the wonderful fall colors on the paint chips it made me think of a brayer technique I saw awhile back that I have wanted to try.  I already knew one of the beautiful script words from You Inspire Me would be my center piece.

I gathered ink pads from various companies to match the colors in the paint chip.  I used my Spellbinders Tool-in-One with the brayer tip and started laying down the colors.  In keeping with the season of thankfulness,  I heat embossed Grateful with gold embossing powder.  When I saw the door wreath, the colors brought to mind the sequins from our gorgeous Mocha Vanilla Latte mix, so I added a few of those.  I loved the round shapes in the inspiration pic and felt the little triple dot detail from the set would be perfect gold heat embossed also.  Here's a look at You Inspire Me and all the wonderful sentiments and details it includes -

We would love to see your take on our mood board.  Please feel free to share with us on our Facebook page or on Instagram  (#kennedygracecreations) and if you like, you can follow me on Instagram here (#brendanh50).  Until next time, "spread kindness like glitter"!

Aloha,
Brenda
