TCP Tuesday - Week 2 of Stars

It's time for week 2 of The Cat's Pajamas TCP Tuesday Challenge - Stars.  I know some of you are making holiday cards.  Why not work a star into  your design and join us?  Remember, you don't have to use a TCP image but come on how could you resist a cutie like this?

I pulled out one of my all time favorite sets, Soar, and here's what happened -

I used a watercolor technique based on this tutorial, but took it my own direction and added some Frantage embossing enamel.  I had to use the fun stars from 3 x 3 Stars CutUps cut from holographic paper (so cool, right?).  The sentiment from Space Cadet was masked.  The first half is on the front and the rest on the inside (You Don't Always See Them But You Know They Are Always There).  I colored Bunny up with Copic markers and I think there are some Atyou Spica markers on the space ship.  I am having so much fun with the Roller CutUps, this card makes the Bun tumble his way through space.  It was so fun to make this card!

Here are the details on the challenge -

  1. Every other Tuesday a new challenge will be posted on The Cat’s Pajamas blog and our Facebook page.
  2. If you want to play along you just upload your design to The Cat’s Pajamas blog page using the InLinkz button by the Monday, 11:55 EDT before the next challenge.
  3. You are not required to use a Cat’s Pajamas stamp or die but if you have them we would love to see them.
  4. On the following TCP Tuesday, the winner will be chosen from the previous challenge and will receive a Cat Cash Voucher for $10 or $15 if a TCP product is used.
For more ideas, stop in and see AlmaDeborahJessicaJulie, and Wendy.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Looking forward to seeing your wonderful creations!

Aloha,
