Smarty Pants!

Hi everyone!  Thanks so much to those who joined in on our March Blog Hop.  I really enjoyed seeing everyone's CASE and I loved all the visits and kind comments.  You still have a little more time if you want to hop.  The winners will be posted on the From the Heart blog on Wednesday, March 9th.

Here's the new sketch for the i {heart} sketches challenge at From the Heart Stamps.  This week Faith designed a fun one for us to use.  The tWist this week is to use a BIG sentiment.  Looking forward to seeing your creations!

Here's my card for this week:

For this card I used Birdbrain Graduate and went with the sketch alone.  My daughter will be graduating from college the end of April, so I decided to get ahead of the game.  Her school colors are red and black, thus the color scheme.  I love this sentiment included in the set along with several others!  I used some NBUS washi tape to form the diagonal designs.  And did a little hand stitching, all pretty true to the sketch.

Remember, you can use the sketch alone, use a big sentiment alone, or combine the 2.  You do need to use a From the Heart Image, but who wouldn't want to do that with all the wonderful choices.  There are several new images in the shop, if you haven't see them yet, head here to take a look.

For all the challenge details check out the blog here.  I hope you have time to play along this week, we can't wait to see your creations!
Aloha,
Brenda

  1. Your daughter will love this fun card, Brenda! Those strips of washi tape are great here, and I love how you were able to use her school colors for the card. May the Lord bless your daughter and guide her as she moves on to the next stage of life after graduation.
