The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek #2 - Wreath Kit

Well, whatcha think of The Cat's Pajamas peeks yesterday? Did you visit the other Kitty Cat Pack Blogs, see their fab creations and leave your comment for a chance to win? Are you ready for todays Peek? I think you're going to like it. It took me a bit to get going with it, but once I started, the ideas just came popping up like thought bubbles. SO FUN!

Here is one of the three cards I made using this very versatile set:

I had real photography problems...I like taking my shots outside, but the weather has just not been cooperating. The glistening gold was particularly difficult to capture...but I stamped the wreath on textured cardstock (which you can't even tell, but looks great IRL) using SU! Baked Brown Sugar. I added a few little dot clusters with the end of a chopstick. I added pearls, some of which I colored with a Copic marker. I added the darling stitched bow CutUp to top it off (more about it in a later post)...easy peasy CAS!

Now for at the rest of the scoop:

-All the new stamps and dies will be released on Tuesday, November 17.

-For a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to The Cat's Pajamas store, leave a comment on each of the sneak peek posts, including The Cat's Pajamas Blog.  A winner will be randomly drawn and will be announced on the TCP Facebook Page the following day.

-Save the date for the Pajama Party on Monday, November 16 from 8-10pm EST.

For more peeks, head on out to see the fab creations of NancyWendyJulie and Christine.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Be sure to stop by tomorrow for the next peek!

Aloha,
Brenda

  10. I'd never have thought to color pearls with Copics. I was sitting here wondering which Copic is 'gold' colored, and realized that the shimmer from the pearls plus brown equals gold and bronze tones!!

  12. love the card, great concept of mix and matching. Coloring ribbon, stones and pearls with Copics is awesome. People see my white ribbon, white pearls and clear rhinestones and ask me where my color is!
