Watercolor???

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter.  My day was nice and quiet with some time to stalk Pintrest and do some card making.  The end result was this, inspired by this card and how to by Kristy Luccketta.  She credited Jennifer McGuire with the technique.  They used distress ink to create a watercolor look.  Loved doing this and really makes me look forward the Online Card Class, Watercolor for Card Makers!

I agree with Kristy, the Delicata Gold ink is beautiful in real life.  So glad I got this when I saw it.  I also used my new Winnie and Walter stamps which I love.  Their service was also excellent!  I was so pleasantly surprised that the stamps sets were wrapped in bakers twine and had a hand written tag attached!  They also included a little goodie bag of sequins!  Made my day...
Have a great week.
Aloha,
Brenda

  1. I like the overlapping inks and the water droplet look. The strip of blue paper peeking out of the side ties it all together.
