Little late with this post, but not bad.  I have been making Halloween cards for my daughter and some of her friends that started college this fall.  Thought I would do a little care package for each girl and include the card.  Paper is by Doodle Bug Designs, the pumpkin, the stars in the background and sentiment are from MFT, Primitive Pumpkins.  You can get the pumpkin dies to match this set which made it very easy.  The layout is from the MFT blog

Hope your week is going well!

This little cutie is a free download from Dearie Dolls, Raggedy Collector.  I thought she was so cute.  I picked the colors for this card with the ribbon as inspiration.  I got this great ribbon at a garage sale!  I fed my ribbon addiction that day for sure!  I colored the image with Copic markers.  The Dies is a quick die and blinged it up to match her dress.  The paper is more I got from Ross.  You can't appreciate it in this picture, but the flower paper had dome bling that snaps things up a bit.  I sewed this with my new little Singer!  Still loving that little thing, great for crafting!

I am wishing you all a week full of inspiration!  Look around you, it's there.

Happy Birthday Ms. Marcia!

I made this card to send to a dear friend of mine who loves to scuba.  This little cutie is snorkeling but close enough, right?  This is Snorklin' Beatrice from C.C. Designs.  The paper is some I picked up from Ross Dress For Less believe it or not.   I got the stack by KI Memories, Inc for a really great price.  I got to practice my coloring on this image.  I have been taking some Copic classes from a very talented lady, Coleen Capello.  I still have a long way to go, but Coleen sure does make it fun.  The background is Tumbled Glass distress ink and the seaweed are Cheery Lynn Designs Iris Leaves.

Gotta Keep trying!

Wow, how time can fly and how much life can change in a very short time.  Long time, no post.  Gonna try to do better. Maybe once a week?  Anyway, here is a card I made yesterday for my daughter.  She is on the mainland going to college and is feeling very far away from home (which she is!).  Just got the stamp set from Verve, love it!  Very versatile.  Flower paper is MME from a while back and the green dots are from Pebbles, Inc.  I am still working on using my scraps.  I colored with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol and did some sewing with my new little Singer sewing machine.  I love it, it is perfect for my card making.  The stick pen was made from a corsage pen and recycled beads.  Hope you have a terrific week!
