A background was created with a white cardstock panel and distress oxide ink blending. DOI colors used were Faded Jeans, Picked Raspberry, Ripe Persimmon and Scattered Straw. Blending was done using blending brushes. The sun, mountains and sentiment were die cut and adhered to the background as shown above. The center of the sun was mounted with foam tape to give a little extra dimension. The completed panel was mounted on a kraft cardstock card blank.
This background was created by watercoloring Distress Inks on watercolor paper. I used Twisted Citron and Broken China. After the background was dry, I flicked it with a wet brush to add the water droplets. The sun, rainbow and clouds were die cut and colored with distress ink using a blending brush. Colors used are as follows -
Sun - Scattered Straw
Clouds - Faded Jeans
Rainbow - Picked Raspberry, Ripe Persimmon, Scattered Straw, Peeled Paint, Salty Ocean
The clouds were adhered to the background. On top of that, the rainbow was popped up using foam tape and then the sun was adhered to the rainbow as shown above. The panel was mounted on a white cardstock card blank.
Finally, the sentiment was stamped, colored and mounted with more foam tape.
