You still have time to join us in our last TCP Tueday Challenge. The theme is florals and with Easter and spring and Mother's Day on the horizon, you may want to add some flowers and join in.
I used the new digital stamps Sitting Shamrock Gnome to create this card.
I started by opening the sentiment digis in Pages and sizing it to fit an A2 card base.
The card base was topped with green plaid paper. The gnome image was opened and he was copied twice. I flipped one of the copies horizontally, (though as it ended up I didn't need to do that).
It was printed on Neenah cardstock.
The front sentiment was die cut using a basic stitched die, but it needed something, so some paper strips were glued as shown above.
The shamrocks were colored with Copic Markers ( G7, 12, 14) and fussy cut them away from the little gnome.
They were adhered as shone.
I thought a few emeralds would be an appropriate embellie.
The inside sentiment was cut and backed with green plaid and adhered to the inside.
- To play along, just upload your project to The Cat’s Pajamas blog using the InLinkz button.
- You don't have to use a Cat’s Pajamas stamp, digi, die or Stencilz, but if you have them we would love to see them.
- The winner will be chosen from the challenge entries and will receive a Cat Cash Voucher for $50!
AND, don't forget the going digital progressive sale that is going on. I've noticed a few of my favorite stamps and dies are all ready gone with the great 20% off thru the month of March.
AND, one last thing. If you've never used a digital image or cut file before, Alma has created some great video how-tos that are sure to help you master their use in no time at all. Here's the link to digital images, this one includes edit, print and cut, this one is for digi editing and here's the link to the Cutables.
I hope you will join us. Take good care!

Brenda
