I thought the cute little coffee sipping couple would look great underneath the Stitched Tree Duo die, so here they are -
- I stamped the image with VersaFine onyx black ink and heat embossed with clear powder since it doesn't play well with Copic Markers. I actually colored these cuties up to look like my husband and I in our younger days😊. I chose to fussy cut them, but you could use the free matching Cutables found here.
- The stitched tree and all its many leaves were die cut as well as the Framed Up CutUps frames and flowers from Flower Wagon.
- A design paper panel was fashioned to mimic the dotty blue frame by using a circle punch to fashion the corners. This was adhered to a white A2 card blank. The stitched tree was backed with design paper and adhered as shown above.
- Leaves were glued randomly and the little couple as placed.
- The sentiment was stamped on the white oval frame and the edge was darkened with frayed burlap distress ink before adhering it to the dotty blue paper frame. Finally it was placed on the right side of the card. Flowers were adhered with of leaves from the tree and Nuvo drops centers were added for a final touch.
