Please forgive the looks of my blog right now, it is in transition😏
New year, new release at The Cat's Pajamas, makes sense, right? I think this release is just yummy and perfect to celebrate a new start (which I think most of us are hoping 2021 eventually brings). For this release, we’ll be doing 4 stamps sets, 1 with matching dies and 4 standalone dies. We have 7 days of sneak peeks for you, so release day is scheduled for January 26.
Today we are featuring the new stamp set, Welcome Gnome and the Grassy Patches dies. They will be available for purchase in the store today. I just love these tiny gnomes and have plenty of plans for them. I think they will make perfect planner stamps. Maybe they should be hiding in the Grassy Patches.
Here's a little card I mades using both new products -
- This card started with a kraft card blank that measures 4" by 5". I've really been loving small cards so far this year.
- The images were stamped colored with Copic markers and fussy cut. The white dots were added to the mushrooms using white Enamel Accents and set aside to dry.
- I love texture on cards and had a piece of cardboard on my desk begging to be used. A strip of design paper with a torn edge was glued to the cardboard and set aside to dry.
- The grass was cut from designer paper using Grassy Patches.
- The little scene was created as shown above all were glued flat except the gnomes which were adhered with foam tape.
- A thin piece of jute twine was tied around the panel and a few clear droplets were added.
- The cardboard panel was glued on the card blank. A piece of design paper panel was glued to it the front. The sentiment was stamped on vellum and heat embossed. It was glued to the front as shown above.
Head on back tomorrow for the next peek. Take care of yourself!
Aloha,
Brenda
