Despite "stay at home orders", time keeps right on flying by so it's time for us to remind you about TCP Tuesday #367 - Share Hope. I LOVE this challenge and hope you will join us over at The Cat's Pajamas. Once you make your master piece, be sure to link it to the TCP blog and share it with someone you care about...there are so many reasons to share hope right now, or anytime for that matter. Use one of your super powers (card making) to spread a little aloha!
Here's what happened for me -
The biggest challenge for this card was deciding which stamps to use. There are so many wonderful, hopeful sets to choose from (which says a lot about the Top Cat, Alma). I chose a sentiment from Take Time To Look For the Rainbows, the darling cactus from Stuck on You (+ coordinating dies) and one of my favorite CutUps, Rectangle Stamp Duo. The sentiment was the inspiration for this card and if you look closely you will see all the colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet).
-I started by cutting the small rectangle stamp from yellow and orange and mounting them on a white card blank.
-The sentiment from Take Time To Look For the Rainbows was stamped using a stamp positioner and a rainbow ink pad by Color Box.
-The cactus and flowers from Stuck on You were stamped on Neenah cardstock, die cut and colored with the following Copic markers :
Red - 02, 05, 08 (pot)
Yellow - 35, 38 (flowers)
Yellow Green - 00, 05, 07 (cactus)
Blue - 12, 16 (flower)
Blue Violet - 13, 17 (flower)
Violet - 06, 09 flower)
-The cactus was adhered to the orange rectangle and the flowers were adhered with foam tape as shown above.
Here are the details for the challenge -
- We will have a new challenge monthly on The Cat’s Pajamas blog and our Facebook page.
- To play along, just upload your project to The Cat’s Pajamas blog using the InLinkz button.
- You don't have to use a Cat’s Pajamas stamp, die or Stencilz, but if you have them we would love to see them.
- On the first day of the new challenge, the winner will be chosen from the previous challenge entries and will receive a Cat Cash Voucher for $50.
Thanks so much for dropping by and for helping us share a little hope!

Brenda
