Today I have a card using the new stamp set, 'Let There Be Cake' and the matching die set 'Layer Cake CutUps' dies...don't forget the bundle.
I started this card by stamping the cake layers and candles. The cake platter was die cut from a silver scrap. The layers and candles were die-cut next. I used the ink pad to color around the layers of cake. The balloons were die-cut using Balloon Frame dies. Nuvo drops were added to create the candle flames. They were colored using the ink pad direct to paper technique. Thread was tied around the balloons. Everything was adhered as shown above and a few clear holographic holeless sequins were added for a little extra touch.
Thanks for stopping by!
Aloha,
Brenda
