TCP Tuesday Challenge #365

It's time for the February TCP Tuesday challenge at The Cat's Pajamas.  We would love to have you join us in creating something using stencils (or Stencilz the fun TCP product). You have until the end of the month to complete a project.  As an added bonus, there is a $50 gift voucher up for grabs.  I'm not sure if you have seen all the wonderful stuff Alma has been creating with Stencilz and Dollar Tree finds, but if you haven't here are a few to check out; Ombre Rose Wreath, Heart Topiary, Farm House Ornament.  It makes me really wish we had a Dollar Trees here.

As for my make, do you ever make things and set them aside for a different idea?  That was the fate of this background.  I'm so happy I had a chance to use it to create this little fairy forest.  I certainly had fun making it -

Products used for this card include-
Distress oxide ink (DOI) - Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron
Distress markers - weathered wood, frayed burlap
Copic markers - mushroom (Y13, Y15, YR24, E40, E42), skin (E01, E11, E21),  shirt (E84, E87), pants (YG93, YG95), caterpillar/leaves (YG13, YG17), lady bug (R24, R29), Flower (V04, V06, Y13, Y15 )
White Gelly Roll pen
Neenah #100 cardstock
Catherine Pooler Designs Midnight ink

Birch Trees Stencilz was used first with the broken china DOI.  Creating the grass came next using Great Outdoors Stencilz along with mowed lawn and twisted citron DOI.
The leaves were added with the Birch Trees Stencilz using the same mowed lawn and twisted citron DOI.
Distress markers were used to add a little depth to the tree hollows.
The panel was cut to 4" x 5 1/4" and mounted on a 4 1/4"x 5 1/2" card blank
The sentiment and images were stamped with Catherine Pooler Designs ink in midnight.
The images were die cut using the matching dies and colored with Copic markers.  Mushrooms were dotted with Gelly Roll pen.
The sentiment was die cut with Framed Up die and edges with inked with Broken China DOI.
The scene was assembled as seen above.
