Sneaky Peek Day 4

It's sneaky peek day 4 at The Cat's Pajamas and we have something very cool to share with you today.  It's a stencil called PATTERN BUILDER STRIPES AND PLAID.  I think this is such a cool concept.  Here's a how-to video Alma did to show you exactly how it works.

I really LOVED making my card for today.  Buffalo plaid is one of my favorite patterns and now I will always have it at my fingertips in whatever colors or design my heart desires😊.  I also really love the new stamps and dies STUCK ON YOU.   This is such a versatile set and will make the perfect Christmas cards from Hawaii.  I had to take this picture by my huge Burro's Tail succulent so you'll understand why -

This card started with the Pattern Builder and some distress oxide ink in candied apple and black soot.  After I had the strips on, I took Alma's lead and used a white Jelly Roll pen to make the tiny white stripes.  I cut this into a 3 3/4 x 5" panel and adhered it to a white panel (4 x 5 1/4") and a red card blank (4 1/4 x 5 1/2").  Next I stamped my images with Memento tuxedo black ink and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.  They were colored with Copic markers and I tied small bows around them to give a festive look.  Speech bubbles were cut using the TALK TO ME CUTUPS.  To get the HOHOHO, I masked HO off and stamped it using the HO HO Holidays sentiment from BUNNY CHRISTMAS.  To finish off the succulents, I dotted their eyes with the white Jelly Roll pen.  Everything was popped up on foam tape and positioned as show above.

Be sure to check out the TCP blog and all the wonderful cards the Cat Pack has created.  Also to find out what designers to visit to be -

For a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to the store, leave a comment on each of the designer's blogs and Instagram accounts (mine is @brendanh50). Winners will be announced on The Cat's Pajamas Blog and Facebook page each day.

Here's a peek at the rest of the release -
