Little Red Wagon #514 - In Memorium

It's Wednesday again which means it's time for a new Little Red Wagon challenge.  I think most of us in the US, and perhaps elsewhere, will forever remember September 11, 2001.  Because I still feel so affected by that day, I felt it appropriate to challenge you to do "In Memorium" creations.  By this I mean creations made for those who have lost loved ones (sympathy cards/creations) or even a creation in memory of someone special in your life.  Please remember, it doesn't have to be a card to enter.

Here's what happened for me -

I seem to be on a CAS roll lately, but it just seems so appropriate when you are trying to convey feelings that are sometimes very difficult to express.

I would love for you to join us this week in sharing your "in memory of" creations.  Please consider heading over to Little Red Wagon and link up. While you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

Aloha,
Brenda

  1. Your card is gorgeous! The CAS design is just perfect as it lets the sentiment and message speak out clearly. The little sequins are a perfect touch!

  6. That was, indeed, a sad, sad day Brenda. We were in a rented house at the time, having sold the farm, and Surprise was on livery. I had just done her and was driving to collect the boys from School. I had the radio on and there was an extraordinary newsflash at about 3.10. It wasn't until we got home and saw the news on the television that the real devastation unfolded. It is so fitting that you should chose this theme for remembrance and share such a lovely card xx
