Luck and Happiness in 2019

I thought it might be fitting as 2018 moves into 2019 to share these cards with sentiments which reflect what I pray for all my friends and family in 2019.  Theses cars show a few more of the beautiful Frantic Stamper dies from the Asian Fusion release.

The dies steal the show with this card...it's all die cutting.  The Chinese Geometric Edger (FRA-DIE-10565) borders the beautiful Paper Lantern (FRA-DIE-10571) and the Luck Kanji (FRA-DIE-10575).  A combination of inlaid die cutting, paper piecing and straight die cutting has been used to create this card.

The next card features Asian Screen stencil (FRA-STN-022), Oriental Poppies die (FRA-DIE-10578) and Bold Every Day Sentiments from a previous release (FRA-CL-115).

The background was stenciled with a soft brush and Worn Lipstick oxide ink.  The poppies were watercolored with distress oxide ink in Worn Lipstick, Crushed Olive and Evergreen bough.  The sentiment was stamped with VersaFine Clair in Nocturne (LOVE this ink).

The last card from this release features Bamboo Frame and Cranes (FRA-DIE-10566), Eastern Wave Border (FRA-DIE-10564) and Happiness Kanji (FRA-DIE-10574).

The background was created for this using distress oxide ink on glossy paper.  The wave border was cut and layered into the frame.  The crane was die cut from watercolor paper and watercolored with Koi watercolors.  The kanji was die cut and adhered to the back panel.

Well, that's it from me for the December release and may well be it for 2018!  I so appreciate your friendship, your visits and comments, and pray that we all have much to celebrate in 2019.

Aloha and Peace,
Brenda
