I saw a card by Karin Akesdotter (BTW, she's amazing!) and knew I wanted to try to create my own take with goodies I have on hand. The step by step was clear in my head, but executing it was an entirely different deal. I just learned a new word from one of my TTT teamies, numpty...this is exactly how I felt. I kept messing stuff up, things as ridiculous as cutting my "snow" and using it instead of a mask when I did the sky. I could go on and on with the numpty things I did before ending up with this:
I do have to say, I am happy with the way it turned out. I am entering it in the following challenges:

ReplyDeleteThis is great!!! What did you use for the falling snow?
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, thanks for stopping by! The snow is Stampendous Frantage shabby white embossing enamel. I sprinkled it on and then heated from the underside of the paper. I love this stuff! It comes in many colors including metallics.
DeleteLoving this lots <3 the penguins hats really caught my eye..............Awesome
ReplyDeleteLovely card, and fab snow. I love the stitched snow hills too. I smiled about your numpty moment too! Hope you don't have many days like that, but if this card is the result, then it's not all bad!
