Happy weekend everyone.  Summer is in full swing here, so I couldn't resist making a fold out card with this sweet little Sasayaki Glitter Beach Teddy.

n't

I had such fun creating this Summery scene for little Bear to bask in.  He and the sand were colored with Copic markers and the clouds were created with Distress Inks and a homemade template using one of my cloud dies.

If you aren't following Sasayaki Glitter on Facebook, why not?  You're missing out on all the creative fun.  Head on over and check us out.

Favorite Color Duo

I'm sorry for the late post, completely off my radar!  Life has been a bit busy of late and truthfully, I'm ready for a holiday!  But, despite the fast pace of life here, it's time for another As You Like It Challenge.  This fortnight our challenge theme is to share you favorite color duo.  Use the colors  on your creation and tell us why there are your favorite.

This week our sponsor is:
Polkadoodles

Here is my card, using Polkadoodles Lil Miss Sugarpops Party Dress/Birthday/Gift -

I have many favorite color duos, it just depends on the image I am working with.  I love the combo of bright green and pink when it comes to sweet, girly projects.  The colors with image make me smile.

We would love for you to join us on the AYLI blog to link up your creation.  While you are there, check out the prize that's up for grabs and take a look at the gorgeous creations the DT made for you to see!

Challenge #404 - Sing, Sing a Song

It's time for another Little Red Wagon Challenge and it's my turn to come up with the challenge topic.  I thought it might be fun to learn one of your favorite songs and see how it might inspire your project for this week.

One of my favorite songs is Amazing grace.  There are many beautiful renditions of this song, but I came across this amazing version by Chris Tomlin awhile back and was so moved by it.  Here is the card it inspired -

I hope you'll be able to share with this week.  I'm looking forward to seeing what you and the Girlfriends have created.  Just pop on by to link up at Little Red Wagon.

She Does Not Sink

Today I'm sharing the last card I've made with this wonderful Frantic Stamper release.  The card was inspired by the sentiment.  I was searching Pinterest for suitable sentiments for mermaid/sea inspired cards and this popped up - She is tossed by the waves but she does not sink.  I loved it and knew exactly what I was going to do.  Here is my card featuring Cute Mermaid and Stitched Waves -

There's still more to see over at the Frantic Stamper Facebook page.  I hope you'll take a peek.

Birthday Fishes

Happy Weekend friends!  I'm sharing another creation using the fantastic new release from Frantic Stamper!  Today my card features Coral and Seaweed oval, Large Staghorn Coral and Three Fish -

This set of dies works so well together.  I loved creating this fun little scene.  It's hard to appreciate here, but the green seaweed and the blue coral are covered in Nuvo Glimmer Paste which looks so fun in real life.  You will also see my goto double fishtail tags, I LOVE this die set and use it all the time!

Thanks for stopping by today.  For more peeks, I would steer you to the Frantic Stamper Facebook page.  I would love to see your creations using the new release, leave me a comment so I can visit.

TCP Sneaky Peek Week!

Happy Friday or as we say here, Aloha Friday!  It's also day 4 of Sneak Peek Week over at The Cat's Pajamas.  We've been sharing 3 new stamp sets, a new CutUps die, and 2 new CutAbles!

For my first card I used the adorable What's Up Gnomies stamp set.  The little Gnomies are so cute and the sentiments are perfect and so phunny!  This card design was created with the Flower Pot Card CutAble -

The little card scene slips out to revel the sentiment, but it still fits into an A2 envie.  You may have also noticed the Clouds and Balloons and Grass CutUps used to make this little scene.

My next card was made using Big Blooms.  I LOVE THIS SET!  I can't wait to play with it some more.  This card was inspired by a flower I see on campus of the hospital where I work.

And my last card uses Big Blooms again with the Banner Day stamp set and the Ribbon Banner CutUps die.   You may have also noticed I used Watercolor Basics on both cards.  This card was inspired by the beautiful hydrangeas that are used here in fresh haku lei making -

That's it for my peeks.  Fun stuff, right?  Which sets do you want to get your paws on?  If you would like a chance to win a $10 voucher to the TCP store, leave a comment on the featured blog each day of Sneeky Peek Week.  Alma will choose a winner from all the comment each day.  Check our Facebook page or the TCP Blog to see if you've won.

Tomorrow it's Jessie's day to share her creative brilliance.  Be sure to stop in take a look and have a chance to win that voucher!

Aloha,
Brenda

Frantic Stamper Underwater Wonders

Happy Thursday!  I'm here with another guest post for Frantic Stamper.  Today I am sharing with you Cute Mermaid and Coral and Seaweed Oval.  You will get a couple more peeks of both these wonderful dies later in the month.

This entire release was very inspiring and just so doggone much fun to create with.  The background for this card was watercolored and the coral and seaweed were both colored with Copic markers.  The little mermaid was die cut from scraps in my stash with just a bit of color to give her bright blue eyes.

I added a few buttons and pearls and before I knew it, this little mermaid was right at home under the sea.

Hopefully you have seen all the wonderful new release cards over on the Frantic Stamper Facebook page.  If not, you'll surely want to take a peek.

Thanks for floating by!

Aloha,
Brenda

Christmas in July at CRAFT Challenge

It's time for another CRAFT Challenge!  We would love for you to join us in celebrating Christmas in July by making a Christmas project to share.

Our Sponsor this week is -

Here's my card featuring Christmas in Hawaii generously provided by our sponsor -

You may know from previous posts, my husband is an avid surfer and therefore many of his friends are too.  This was the perfect image to color up for one of them.  I even "epoxyed" the board with Glossy Accents.  I was disappointed with the way the colors changed after it was added, but always the optimist, my husband declared that it looked as if the board had been waxed.  I went with it 😎.

If you are looking for some new Christmas digis, check out MelonHeadz.  Nikki has a bunch of them in her Esty store and in her TPT store.  You might even be able to find some freebies on her blog.  Get your MelonHeadz, color them up, create that Christmas project and share them with us over at the CRAFT Challenge blog.

I appreciate your visit!

Aloha,
Brenda

LRW Christmas In July

Yip, it's Christmas in July at Little Red Wagon!  Janice is our hostess with the mostest this week and she it wanting us to make some Yuletide greetings.  My card looks very similar to a card I made last week for a couple of reasons.  1.  I have lots of washi tape on hand and 2.  I just really liked the simplicity of the design.  I don't take credit for the design, I'm sure I probably saw it on Pinterest or maybe even on one of your blogs, but it stuck with me and I really like it.

Here's my card -

If you are looking to beat the heat by thinking winter or just sincerely want to build up your card stash way before Christmas, we would love it if you joined us this week at Little Red Wagon.

So glad you stopped in!

Whale Hello

Here's another card I made for my spot as a guest designer at Frantic Stamper.  If you've never visited the store, you need to stop in.  The stamps and dies are of great quality, their are such wonderful designs and wonderful customer service with speedy shipping.

So, on to my card today...

This cheeky card features the darling new spouting whale and stitched waves dies.  The clouds were made with the rounded side of the wave cut.  I had such fun creating this little scene with stitched rounded squares from last month's release.  I used an embossing folder for the background, but there is new Frantic Stamper stamp is on my wish list, it would have been perfect!

Here's a rundown of all the new stamps and dies I used today.  They call all be found here -

Here are the dies from past releases -
