March Blog Hop

It's the first Friday in March, so that must mean it's time for our From the Heart Stamps blog hop. We have a “CASE it” theme this month. Each team member will be showcasing a card CASE-D (copy and share everything) from another teammate.

As you hop along, leave a comment on each blog for a chance to win!  One random commenter will be selected on each blog to win an image of choice from the FTHS store. Additionally one lucky random winner from the comments on the FTHS blog will win a $15 voucher to the FTHS store!

If you have arrived from Angela's blog, you are in the right place, if not why don’t you start on the From the Heart Stamps blog, so you don’t miss a single thing!

I went back in time and CASE-D this card from Michelle's wonderful creative mind.  I love that she did something a bit out of the ordinary and spotlighted a sentiment.  I've never thought of that and wanted to give it a try.  Her consistently wonderful choices of paper and the perfect embellishments are something I admire, so I tried to recreate that in my project also.

Here is my card, using a sentiment I love from Easter Egg Birdbrains-

Supplies used:
Color medium- Copic Markers
Paper- American Crafts Everyday and Penny Black Painted Blooms, Neenah craft cardstock
Other supplies- Hemptique twine, cross charm from stash, MFT Pierced Circles

Now, head on over to Calypso's blog and see what kind of wonderfulness she has created.

Thanks for hopping with us today. The hop will end on Monday March 7th at 6 am EST. Winners will be posted on the From the Heart Stamps Blog on Wednesday March 9th. Good Luck!

Aloha,
Brenda

  2. Great job Brenda. Love your card and it does honor to Michelle who is an amazing card maker. I love the use of rough edges and kraft for a more homespun feel. I also like the focal being more sentiment than image. Great job and happy hop!
