Here's my card using Spyder's Other Corner's Merry Christmas Owl. I turned him into a bluebird for my purposes and put him on front of a shaker card. This card was inspired by a True Stamp online workshop I recently "attended".

The all white background really makes the image pop out but I love how you made a feature of your background too with the shaker tag - fabulous idea!
