Wow, congrats to Jo and the gang on the 300th CRAFT Challenge!  I'd say that's quite an accomplishment.  The challenge this week is to come up with your choice, a Get Well card, a Sympathy card or a I'm Sorry card.  We are most fortunate to have 2 wonderful sponsors:

Prize is 3 images from their shop

And

Prize is 5 digital images from their shop

My image is Jillian from Lacy Sunshine Stamps and this is what I came up with:

Add Some Glitter, yes thank you!

The challenge over at A Day For Daisies is 'add some glitter'.  I love glitter/glimmer in all forms and ADFD images lend themselves perfectly to this embellishment.  If it wasn't good enough to get to sparkle something up, Tammy is offering this darling little fairy kitten.  Here's what I came up with...

This card went together very quickly.  I love using the blue green Copics for fairy wings so the color combo was set.  The card sketch was inspired by I (Heart) Sketches #087.  (I love my Pintrest Card Recipe Board!!!)  The cardstock is from DCWV and the DP is Basics from Pebbles.  I used Spellbinders Circle dies and MFT Dynamics Pierced Circle Stax to cut the image and frame.  The wings are glittered with Star Dust Stickles and the kitty is colored with my favorite warm grey Copic markers.

Thanks so much for taking a peek.  If anyone has tips for photographing cards, please let me know...I would be so grateful.

Aloha,
Brenda

Top Tip Tuesday Rubber Stamps Only Challenge

I love my rubber (or clear) stamps!!!  I have rarely seen a rubber stamp I didn't like.  I still have the very first stamp I purchased at a wonderful craft festival when I lived in Houston.  Our challenge at Top Tip Tuesday this fortnight is being hosted by the uber talented Elaine.  And you guessed it we want you to use Rubber Stamps Only!

I had a very hard time deciding which stamp to use.  In the end I inked up a Julie Nutting doll stamp that has been waiting patiently for me.  I tried "water coloring" with distress markers for the first time, which I had fun with.  The dress on this cute girl was paper pieced.  This tag helped me with my resolution to use my NBUS and paper scraps.

We are so pleased this challenge is sponsored by Bunny Zoe Crafts.  Their website is full of wonderful goodies.  I was so impressed by the number of my favorite stamp companies they offer.

Their generous prize for this challenge is a £10 gift voucher.

OK, come on, grab that favorite rubber stamp, or maybe that stamp you been dying to ink up.  You can't win if you don't enter!  Be sure to stop by the Top Tip Tuesday Blog for some DT inspiration and inspiration from your fellow crafters.  I am in awe of the talent we have the pleasure of seeing.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by!

Aloha,
Brenda

Merry Monday #145...Candy Canes!

Welcome to the Merry Monday Challenge #145!  I want to start off this post by thanking Lori for liking my card.  I was so surprised!  I am thrilled to be able to play along with the DT on today's challenge.  This week we want you to to have fun creating a Christmas card with candy canes.

When I saw this classy picture, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.    Here's my take on today's challenge:

I was inspired by the snowy looking limbs and red berries. The bead board in the background inspired the green striped background.

Be sure to stop by Merry Monday and take a look at the wonderful inspiration provided by the design team.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today.  Hope your week is full of blessings!

CRAFT Challenge #297...Decoupage

The CRAFT Challenge this week is to decoupage.  I haven't done this craft technique in many, many years.  I found a new to me product called Decou-Page by DecoArt.  It was very easy to use and I love the satiny shine it gave my note pad.  I purchased a note pad made of recycled papers by Sierra Pacific Crafts and covered it with design paper by Echo Park.

This is what I came up with using the Fitztown image Valentine 13 Teddy Wreath.  I adapted the image by die cutting my own heart.  Don't you just love this cute little bear?

Our generous sponsors this week are:

Crafts By Fitztown
