TCPTUES 282

I love card sketches!  This one for TCPTUES282 is a great one.

I needed to make a Valentine's card at my husband's request which shocked me!  Don't get me wrong, he is one of the really good ones...he supports me and all my crazy ideas, sometimes more actively than others.  I think he is happy I have my little craft room to retreat to because that leaves him able to have the TV all to himself (he likes zombies, I like happy endings).  When I show my stuff to him I get a "oh, that's nice" or the noncommittal "ahuh", not even really sure he looked at it.  So I took this request as an endorsement.

Here's the fun sketch:

And here's my card:

I have one more card made with this sketch which I hope to post tomorrow night,  gotta get some photos taken.  Hope you are heading into a great weekend!  Thanks for stopping in!

Aloha,
Brenda

  2. This is so pretty. I love how you added the shimmery glitter to Bun Bun's wings! And what is it with hubbies? Mine is super supportive as well, but I get those exact same comments out of him. Somebody needs to rewrite their playbook! :D

  4. I get the same from Dr. Hubby, he sometimes likes to see my colouring but not really the finished cards as he doesn't like all the embellies! And I think he only likes to check on my colouring to see if I have got enough contrast in my shading and consistency of lightsource - lol!

I have to say he would not be a fan of all the sparkly on your card but he's not looking at it and I LOVE it! The bold colour scheme is fab and I love your interpretation of the sketch :-)

    Big hugs, Kat x
